Kate was hired as a keynote speaker and breakout session presenter for a professional development event I was overseeing on behalf of CYFAR (Children, Youth, and Families At-Risk) grant under the USDA/NIFA. We hired Kate because we were in need of a person who could give an engaging talk about self-care for people who truly give their hearts to their work. It was very important for us to have someone was genuine and understood heart-work. The break out sessions were entitled Brave Space: Diverse, Equitable, & Inclusive Workplaces and Self-Care isn’t Selfish: Multiplying Impact by Creating Sustainable Work Habits.

The communication we had prior was excellent and clear. Kate followed through on all requests and was truly amazing to work with on booking. Kate is an excellent listener and really wanted to know about our audience and their needs. We attributed Kate’s gifts to the great success of our event!
